The present publication is a review of selected articles on the formation of a carbon-phosphorus bond with the use of transition metal complexes. A heavy workload on the part of the author is evident over 70 pages of the text, nearly 120 diagrams, individual publications are generally described in some detail, including the mechanisms of selected reactions. The study can be a valuable help for those interested in the chemistry of organophosphorus compounds.
