A setting of the poem by Robert Louis Stevenson (\'Late lies the wintry sun a-bed, A frosty, fiery sleepy-head\'), Winter-Time was written by the choristers of Pembroke College Girls\' Choir, under the direction of Anna Lapwood. The piece takes a simple, but attractive and lilting melody on a wintery journey through the verses, adding descants and varied harmonies, not only in the flowing piano accompaniment, but also in some basic divsi within the upper voices.
