When someone comes face to face with death, something happens inside them that puts their whole life into perspective. What was once important in life becomes the very thing that exists to destroy them. The choices that have been made cannot be undone and the consequences of those choices may never stop. When pain surrounds your whole world could the love of a child be the one thing that stops that pain.
