It should be stated that the book is an original scientific study of an applicatory nature, which combines management issues with numerous other areas. It allows for noticing and understanding a vast number of scientific studies necessary for further scientific work aimed at the reflection on management in tourism indicated by the title. The multi-author chapters are an unquestionable asset of the book. Through the presentation of various research approaches specific to particular disciplines of science, they are an important contribution to the future of research, also by indicating the need to take into account regional and national specificities. From such a perspective, it is a unique book, which contains both theoretical considerations and reports of empirical studies supported by the rich and comprehensive subject literature and structured in a way that allows the readers to understand the intentions of its Authors and Editors.
